"Hush!" whispers the snow, without a sound,
And we hear.
We throw the windows wide to see
Whiteness fall easily from the heavens.
We would watch for hours
Were we yet again children,
But work demands attention.
Snowplows scrape past in the street.
And we hear.

I don't know; maybe I should've. But I admired it at length, and I wrote a poem. That's gotta count for something. :)
Timeless Moment #154 - watching the snow swirl around endlessly in the breeze coming off the Hudson River at WP, NY. Didn't matter that I had 'work to be done', and plenty of it - couldn't hardly take myself away from watching the snow swirl and settle onto the field.
I dare say that time spent fully immersed in the beauty of God's creation - God's own firework shows, be they snow storms or Northern Lights, or ocean waves crowned by phosphorescence - is time well invested indeed =D
